I finally made it to the beach – the charming beach town of San Blas where two volunteers are stationed and the amazing migratory marine bird reserve at Isla Isabel, about 3 hours off the coast. I will write more later, but I’ve been working on the photos for days and want to get them posted.

Be patient with the loading, and I hope it doesn’t take too long. I think it is worth the wait. I think I’ve added all the captions, but to summarize: car trip, San Blas, boat trip, Island, birds, iguanas, birds, birds, sunset, sunrise, birds, delicious red snapper, birds, and more birds. Birds are blue-footed boobies, frigate birds, sea gulls, brown boobies, pelicans, and tropical birds.

    1. @Julia: All those birds and glorious sunsets, but it’s an iguana that you like best? Hopefully you’ve been voting in the Iguana War.

    1. @Lindsay: What’s your favorite? Let me know if you want any of them, and I can send copies or post on fb.
